The measurements are made by light sensors without touching the stamp and are therefore absolutely safe for the stamp. The Perfotronic automatically rounds up or down to the perforation numbers listed in catalogues by 1/4 distances. The processor is even able to calculate the perforation if some dents are missing or damaged. The result can now be shopwn with 1/100 precision; especially useful if many perforations of stamps have to be measured
