Paco Sako - Paco Sako Peace chess game - thick board

Dutch artist Felix Albers designed a new game in which the chess pieces do not strike each other, but embrace each other. The birth of his son inspired him to embrace that. Chess with a message. A game about connecting, dialogue and strength. Together we create the world in a playful way. A challenging life lesson to join forces and search for peace and harmony. The embrace between black and white was the beginning of the chess game of peace. The Paco Sako pieces have opened their arms. They dance and swing on the chessboard. A design of balance and beauty. In 2017 Felix Albers received the Pax peace award with Paco Sako. A year later, the game was nominated for Toy of the Year and the Dutch Games Prize. Paco Sako faces the exciting challenge of developing the educational side of the game. Both the technical game part with puzzles, the club and tournaments as well as the artistic and educational side with themed lessons and art expressions.
