Simoun pick up truck - Land of Black Gold (1950) Suspecting the car repair company Simoun of tampering with gasoline in order to make engines explode so they can have more break-down call outs. The Thompson’s get employed by the company as tow truck drivers in order to investigate further. The Simoun tow truck could be partially derived from a pickup truck, that the American manufacturer Chevrolet produced in 1936. The Thom(p)sons are working undercover as mechanics in “Land of Black Gold”.
This is a 1/43 scale model of the breakdown truck they use.
