Moulinsart Tintin statue - Rascar Capac

This figurine of the terrifying Rascar Capac is part of a series of beautiful statuettes, designed and manufactured with a keen attention to the original detail in Hergé's drawings.

height approximately 14,5 cm

The name of the Inca Rascar Capac is inspired by the names of the Incas that ruled over Peru, such as "Manco-Capac", "Mayta-Capac" or "Huascar" and appears in the album The Seven Crystal Balls (published 1947). The Inca Rascar Capac is not a historic figure, the author Hergé has invented him. The mummy of Rascar Capac was discovered during the Sander-Hardmuth-expedition, which was mentioned at the start of the story.

The nickname of Raspar Capac is: He-Who-Unleashes-The-Lightning.

The mummy of the Inca Rasca Capac wears a "borla" on its head, a royal diadeem made of solid gold.
